*** Virtual Bel Air Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council Special Board Meeting on Wildlife Ordinance Comment Letter ***

July 20 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

This is an IMPORTANT Meeting.  If you live in the City of Los Angeles between the 405 Fwy and Laurel Canyon Blvd, from Mulholland to roughly Sunset/Hollywood Blvd, this meeting is very important for YOU.  At this meeting, the Bel Air Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council (BABCNC) will be deciding what their Wildlife Ordinance comment letter to the Planning Department should say.

Neighborhood Councils are advisory groups to the City Council, and liaise with other local government entities.  They are supposed to be the voice of their residents, but sometimes they forget that and only hear their own voice. Remember, the Wildlife Ordinance originated with certain members of the Bel Air Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council, and those long-time members are very supportive of the proposed Wildlife Ordinance (especially the ones that are supposed to be representing the residents of the Benedict Canyon and Laurel Canyon areas).

You need to attend this meeting and speak up, so that there is no question that the majority of residents DO NOT support the proposed Wildlife Ordinance, and that they need to do their job and be the voice of the residents.

If you can’t attend the meeting, you can send written comments to: council@babcnc.org  and TLongcore@babcnc.org

Here is the agenda, which contains the Zoom and call-in instructions: https://www.babcnc.org/assets/documents/16/meeting62cf21a714ded.pdf

Not sure if you are in BABCNC territory?  Here is a link to a map of the area that the BABCNC is supposed to represent: https://www.babcnc.org/page/viewPage/area-boundaries-and-map
